It is time for warmer, sunnier, dryer days, and of course…. horsemanship clinics!!!!
This year we are doing three different types of clinics with each clinic having a limited amount of open spots. If a clinic is a multi-day clinic, boarding for your horse is included at no additional cost, all you have to do is provide feed and care for your horse. Lunch is provided for all participants at each of the clinics for no additional charge as well. We do allow spectators to audit our Foundation and Obstacle Course clinics for an additional cost.
Each clinic is 9am-5pm with a two hour lunch break and taught by Professional Clinician, Mark Hernandez. Our clinics will push you out of your comfort zone, force you to become the leader your horse deserves, and leave you with new skills and vigor to continue your horsemanship journey. These clinics are NOT problem horse clinics or beginner clinics.
To hold a spot in our Foundation and On The Trail clinic, 50% of the clinic fee is required along with a completed application and liability releases with the remaining 50% due 30 days prior to the clinic. To confirm your spot on our Obstacle Course clinic, the entire amount is due at the time of signing up along with a completed application and liability releases.

American Horse Company clinic’s are grounded in the philosophy that building a strong foundation beginning with groundwork where you earn your horse’s respect, working up to riding gives the horse and rider the highest chance of success. Throughout our years in the equine industry we have found that “a good foundation isn’t just anything, it is everything” Don Dodge.
Clinic participants will have instruction from Head Trainer, Mark Hernandez and all clinics are limited in the amount of participants so that Mark can give each participant personalized attention. Our clinics will help you improve your communication as well as your relationship with your horse
Clinic topics can range from: round-penning, basic horsemanship, groundwork, riding, and beyond the basics. .
Want to do a clinic away from your barn or stable? Come to our 200-acre ranch where we can host your clinic and give you and your horse a taste of the country life. We are located on the Eastern Plains in Colorado 45 minutes outside of Colorado Springs. If you and your group cannot travel, we can come to you. All we need is some space and a safe environment for you and your horse to learn in.
